Robin & Louise (R&L) started the Airbnb business about 3 years ago in 2015. Our first apartment at 1Medini Residences completed in 2015, at a time where property market is undergoing correction. My wife and I decided to list our 1Medini apartment in Airbnb.

At the beginning, we were very hands on and did everything ourselves. We worked at our regular jobs and did everything for our rental guests. We communicated with the guests and we provided all of the laundry and cleaning service, as well as changing of linens, and being there for the handover of the keys.

Over time we started to have more guests, and the reviews from our guests were good, so our rental business began to grow. We began to hire professionals to do the cleaning, work with interior designers for part of the renovations, provide transportation for our guests, etc. We both had a passion to provide guests with accommodations that they could feel at home in. We discovered that when our guests were happy we felt fulfilled.

We are dedicated to providing each of our Airbnb guests with the most rewarding experience possible. We see each property and each guest as an opportunity to meet new and exciting people, and to give people a welcoming place to stay while they travel. We are thrilled with our Airbnb work and by providing theses spaces to travellers we have opened our culture to people from all around the world and shared the unique glimpse into that culture that cannot be found in a hotel. We believe that we have gained great insights into the world they live by doing so.

We soon had hosted to more than 3000 quests and receives more than 700+ positive reviews. With good reviews and successful business, we have property owners asking us to manage their homes. We decided to start “Hostahome” with the vision of growing property incomes for home property owners. With Hostahome, we use our personal experiences to help other homeowners increase their income.
